It's been awhile...

It's been awhile since we've worked on the trailer...

Thanks to those who have commented. We've been busy moving, doing some remodeling to the new house, vacationing in Colorado last summer. Just came home from Mena, Arkansas, riding our 4 wheelers for 4 awesome days. Met some new friends from LA, Texas, & Arkansas.

To answer the question concerning where we got the windows: some came from a wrecked camper, the 2 fire exit windows were new from a local camper supply and the BIG window had to be shipped from the state of Washington because we could not find one big enough to fit the hole we messed up cutting for a smaller window (very expensive mistake!)

Hi! My husband and I stumbled upon your blog. We just bought a 1995 24 foot Pace American enclosed cargo trailer. It already has all the kitchen cabinetry and all the electrical. (I mean a TON of electrical! It has 5 huge garage size fluorescent lights across the top) We are excited to convert it to a toy hauler but are totally clueless!! I am excited to read through all your suggestions on here! Thanks for putting the great blog together.

Love what you are doing to the trailer. I am wondering where you got the silver brushed metal wallboard. I really like the look of it. We are redoing the walls and floor of a toyhauler to make it a tailgating trailer. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi, took a while for me to figure how to comment here. I am recently divorced and early retirement age and will be doing something very similar to What you have done. Is there anything you would change about what you did? Great job by the way.

I bought a 8x20' Wells Cargo years ago. I took the paneling off and had it spray foamed, put a 15.5 roof air on it, now it is time for some finish work. I plan a larger than RV shower stall(lowes) 10 gal w/h, stainless sink, mini frig, I don't really cook, so I don't know about the cooktop, maybe a portable outdoor grill, awnings and extend a room and such. Thanks for the inspiration.

Doug from Texas.

I came across your site several months ago and then again tonight. I am in the design process for my Wells Cargo AutoWagon. I want to be able to haul my two ATV's when the ocassion arrises. I would like to use it more for just normal camping. Not many places close to Houston that are great for trail riding.
